Performance Art gets visibility in the crossing points in between, when the
Art Market is in crisis. In the end of the last Free Performance Art Festival
on March 31 till April 1st , Brenda Novak and Marco Flores Fioramanti
start working together, from reflexions of the meridians of the body in the
Traditional Chinese Medicine system. Brenda comes from her BodyHouse concept project, and works as well as artist, as therapist with Tui-na Chinese massage. Marco has several perfomances already using meridians as an aesthetic idea, plus what is behind, or above, the skin.
They present their work in resonance of the mondial situation of our all bodies inside our houses, in the Pandemic Emergency getting resonances. We all have our bodies as an eternal limit of each life. They show the performance ENTRETIEMPO in this new online Free Performance Art
Festival in May 2nd. They are talking about healing, coming up inspired by Platoon Texts, specially the Myth of the Cave. They reflect about being inside the cave, our houses, in the circumstances that we all are now. The house now as prison, or creating a situation getting liberation of new possible levels of internal new states of aesthetic artistic communication. Each one at the proper house, getting connection in between visual elements that creates a poetical situation.

L'immagine, a tutta parete, presenta un grande relitto in acqua, vuoto realizzato dall'artista in precedenza. Sulla parete di fronte, specularmente, lo stesso relitto viene ricostruito conl'inserimento in scala dei naufraghi della "Zattera della Medusa" di Théodore Géricault. La performance esprime il senso del tragico attraverso il sogno di un naufrago che si stacca dal Relitto/Zattera e interagisce con l'ambiente circostante espresso dalla danza e la musica, alla ricerca di una possibile salvezza.
The image, across the wall, shows a large, empty wreck in the water, previously created by the artist. On the opposite wall, specularly, the same wreck is reconstructed with a scale insertion of the castaways of the "Raft of the Medusa" by Théodore Géricault. The performance expresses the sense of tragic through the dream of a castaway who detaches himself from the Wreck / Raft and interacts with the surrounding environment expressed by dance and music, in search of a possible salvation

A partire dalle ore 00:01 (ora italiana) del 31 MARZO alle ore 23:59 del 1 APRILE 2020 sarà possibile visionare in esclusiva alcune opere di artisti italiani e stranieri appartenenti al mondo della performance art. Si tratta di azioni inedite che sono state presentante presso musei, gallerie e festival. La libera visualizzazione nasce allo scopo di rendere l’arte accessibile a tutti: infatti in vista delle restrizioni per contenere l’emergenza Covid-19, per ragioni di sicurezza, i luoghi della cultura sono al momento chiusi.
I video saranno visualizzabili dai link correlati (tra cui il seguente) agli artisti che hanno aderito all’iniziativa. Questi Url sono generalmente privati e verranno eccezionalmente “aperti” per il lasso di tempo menzionato.

La vita artistica di Marco Fioramanti è la testimonianza di un'arte vissuta in prima persona, l'immediatezza del tratto, il contatto diretto col pubblico, il nomadismo sono le sue caratteristiche.
La narrazione procede tra Roma, Berlino ovest e il Nepal, alla ricerca di un filo rosso della sua poetica. Testimonianze di artisti e critici che hanno conosciuto e condiviso il suo percorso artistico si intrecciano con filmati delle sue performance e documenti d'archivio della Berlino anni '80, luogo geografico ed emotivo d'elezione non solo di un artista ma di un'intera generazione.
Come allora, così oggi tutti si sentono derubati della propria libertà.

Marco Fioramanti (Roma 1954), artista interdisciplinare (pittura, installazioni, performance) con una serie di lunghi soggiorni all’estero e ricerche sul campo in Cina, Tibet, Marocco e sullo sciamanismo in Nepal. Sperimenta differenti materiali recuperando segni, componenti e riti d’iniziazione delle culture extra-europee. Co-redattore del Manifesto Trattista, nel 1982 dà vita al Trattismo (Primitivismo astratto). Lascia la professione di ingegnere per dedicarsi completamente alle arti integrate. Nell’83 si trasferisce per 4 anni a West-Berlin dove forma il Gruppo Multimediale Trattista Berlin (Barcelona, Stockholm, Algier, New York, Paris, ecc.), nell’85 e’ invitato all’Edinburgh Fringe Festival e al Theater Festival München. Nel 2007 nominato artista/curatore del padiglione italiano della XXIV Biennale internazionale di Alessandria d’Egitto. Dal 2007 ideatore del libro-rivista NIGHT ITALIA, glamour/underground, referente europeo della rivista newyorkese NIGHT Mag di Anton Perich con Andy Warhol. Nel 2015 la BEIA Production realizza il docu-film IM WALD DER BILDER (“Nella Foresta delle Immagini – L’arte di Marco Fioramanti”), protagonista della Boddinale Film Festival Berlin 2016 e della VI edizione di CORPO – Festival delle arti performative, Pescara 2016. Nell’estate 2017 prende parte alla Rassegna internazionale di sculture e installazioni OPEN20 al Lido di Venezia, a cura di Paolo De Grandis. Nel 2019 realizza performance e installazioni presso il MACRO Asilo, Museo d'arte contemporanea di Roma.
Marco Fioramanti (Rome 1954), an interdisciplinary artist (painting, installations, performances) with a series of long stays abroad and field research in China, Tibet, Morocco and shamanism in Nepal. Experiment with different materials recovering signs, components and rites of initiation of extra-European cultures. Co-editor of the Trattista Manifest, in 1982 he bases Trattismo Group (about Abstract Primitivism). He leaves the profession of engineer to devote himself fully to the integrated arts. In 1983 he moved to West Berlin where he creates thr Multimedial Trattista Group , Stockholm, Algier, New York, Paris, etc.) for 4 years in West Berlin where he was invited to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and the Theater Festival München. In 2007 he has been nominated artist&curator of the Italian Pavilion at the XXIV International Biennial of Alexandria in Egypt. Since 2007, creator of the magazine NIGHT ITALIA, glamor / underground, European reference magazine of New York’s NIGHT Mag by Anton Perich with Andy Warhol. In 2015, BEIA Production produces IM WALD DER BILDER (“In The Forest of Images – The Art of Marco Fioramanti”), the protagonist of the Boddinale Film Festival Berlin 2016 and the VI edition of BODY – Performing Arts Festival, Pescara 2016. In the summer of 2017 he participates in the International Exhibition of Sculptures and Installations OPEN20 at the Lido of Venice, edited by Paolo De Grandis.
