SUGGEST: ACTIVATE THE SOUND
During this date artists from Bangladesh, Brazil, Finland, Italy, UK will make their works available to everyone. In the past edition on March, others performer from China, South Korea, Germany, Spain and the USA took part of FREE PERFORMANCE ART aims to involve artists from all over the world until the end of coronavirus emergency.
The initiative has the purpose of making art accessible to everyone considering that due to the Convid-19 pandemic safety restrictions, cultural places are closed to the public all over the World. These artists appartain to the world of performance art, a particular type of artistic form where the action of the individual or of a group in a particular place and time constitutes the work itself. The streaming performances and/or the videos will be available in links connected to the own artists page, art historians and curators who have decided to participate in this project. Il 2 maggio si svolgerà la seconda edizione di FREE PERFORMANCE ART: artisti provenienti da diverse parti del mondo apriranno le porte della loro casa/studio, performeranno in streaming, metteranno a disposizione le loro azioni on-line. La libera visualizzazione nasce allo scopo di rendere l’arte accessibile a tutti: per contenere l’emergenza Covid-19, per ragioni di sicurezza, i luoghi della cultura sono al momento chiusi.
Questo nuovo appuntamento dopo il primo avvenuto a marzo, vede la partecipazione di artisti della performance art provenienti da Bangladesh, Brasile, Italia, UK. Nella scorsa edizione vi hanno preso parte anche performance artist dalla Cina, Corea del Sud, Germania, Spagna, USA. FREE PERFORMANCE ART vuole coinvolgere artisti da ogni parte del mondo fino alla fine dell'emergenza coronavirus.
Dalle 00:01 (ora italiana) alle ore 23:59 del 2 MAGGIO sarà possibile visionare in esclusiva online dal blog https://freeperformanceart.blogspot.com/ link azioni di artisti appartenenti al mondo della performance art, una particolare forma artistica dove l'azione di un individuo o di un gruppo in un determinato luogo e lasso temporale costituisce l'opera stessa. Nella scheda di ogni artista è possibile leggere link, concept, biografia di ognuno e accedere a dei link che rimandano alle proprie pagine social dove verranno eseguite le dirette live, o ai video che verranno eccezionalmente “aperti” per il lasso di tempo menzionato.
